Blogmas Day 2: Birthday Haul Part 2

It is only 2nd December and I am already feeling so christmassy so before I head out and get quite a bit of Christmas shopping done I thought I would share with you the rest of my birthday presents so without rambling too much lets get into it,

Fragrance wise I did very well this year getting 2 lovely smelly bits. Firstly from one of my friends I got the Victoria Secrets Secret Escape Fragrance Mist in Sheer Freesia and Guava Flowers. The bottle of this is absoloutely gorgeous and I was so excited to get this because I have never had a Victoria Secret's fragrance before. The smell of this is lovely and floral without being overpoweringly flowery but is also nice and fresh. I have been tending to wear this on a daily basis and makes a nice change from some of the more woody deep fragrances I have.

Next up is a very exciting present and one that I had been wanting ever since it was released back in September, Jo Malone Cologne in Wood Sage and Sea Salt. Now if you haven't smelt this before please just stop what you are doing and go smell it now. It is honestly one of the nicest smelling things I have ever smelt. It is quite a masculine scent which I don't normally like but this is just fab. I think the candle version of this would be amazing as well so I think that may be going on my Christmas list!

Staying on nice smelling things my Brother got me a lovely Lush gift set featuring 2 of their bath bombs. Poptastic! features Cinders Bath Bomb and Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb. Neither of these I have ever tried before but are both once's I have had a good smell of in store! I love baths and especially at this time of year so I can't wait to try these out very very soon!

Last up was another very exciting present from my housemates and perfect for this time of year, the Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm. This is a pretty cult beauty product and I have read so many reviews about it and thought it sounded amazing. And I have to admit the hype is so right, this is awesome! I make sure I use this every morning and every night as well as topping it up throughout the day and already I can notice a difference in how my lips look. My lips normally get very chapped and disgusting around this time of year but since I have been using this they have been so lovely and soft. Some people might think this is quite a price tag for a lip balm but is 1000% worth it and I also think this would make a perfect stocking filler for any beauty loving girl.

WOW! So that is all for my birthday haul, I did get some other bits but I thought I would only share my beauty related present. My main present from my Mum and Dad was a spa weekend break later on in December so after that I will be reviewing the whole experience so keep an eye out for that! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Blogmas Day 1: 21st Birthday Haul Part 1

Well writing a blog post again feels weird! It has been a long long absence but I am actually really excited to try get back on it. So to kick off getting back into blogging I thought I would start with one of my favourite posts to read and write, a haul. Now this isn't you average haul it is my birthday haul! A couple of weeks ago I celebrated my 21st birthday and had such a fab weekend. If any of my friends or family are reading this I just want to say a massive thank you for making it so special, especially my housemates who made my actual birthday so fun and special! Now before I start crying all over my laptop lets get into what I got!

First up from my Auntie and Uncle I got the Real Techniques Nics Picks Make Up Brush Set. Can we just all appreciated how nice the silver holographic colour looks on these brushes, makes such a nice change from the usual orange/purple.This is a limited edition brush collection set that features 2 already existing brushes, the Duo Fibre Face Brush and the Base Shadow brush as well as 3 exclusive brushes just for this set. The exclusive brushes are the Cheek Brush, Angled Shadow Brush and Eyeliner Brush. I have already had a play around with all these brushes and I love them all! Real Technique brushes are some of the best brushes out there and these are the same standard as all the other brushes in their collection. My favourite at the moment is the duo fibre face brush, which I have been using to apply bronzer, simply because it is so so soft! I am so so happy with this set and can't recommend it enough. Remember it is limited edition so make sure you snap it  up quick!

Staying on the brush front my lovely friends also got me a MAC 217 Brush! I have somehow never owned this brush before! I think this brush has to be the MOST talked about brush in the blogging community and now I finally have my paws on this I can tell why. This brush is completely changing my eyeshadow game, it blends even the worst eyeshadow out perfectly and is so soft I could rub it all over my face all day. This does have quite a hefty price tag on it but as Christmas is approaching I would definitely put this on your wish list because it is a must have!

Staying on the MAC theme I also got the Objections of Affection Pink and Rose Pigment and Glitter Collection. This little set features 5 glitters and pigments all with a pink tone to them. Each one is so gorgeous and just gives any eye look a little something special. I am still loving my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and I think these would look fab when I am doing eye looks with that! This is again a limited edition set for Christmas and I think would make a perfect gift so if you are interested in getting this make sure you get it quick because I think they are already selling out online.

Now onto my favourite subject, lipstick. This birthday I did very well lipstick wise getting 2 lipsticks and both from Topshop. First up is Macaroon. This is a lovely light pink colour which is the perfect your lips but better colour! I have been wearing this loads since my  birthday as it is so easy to use and just leaves your lips looking gorgeous! Now onto the other end of the lipstick spectrum with Hazard, this is a beautiful dark red colour. I actually owned this colour once before but managed to lose it after wearing it only once so I was so happy to get it again. This colour will be perfect for this time of year and I can see myself wearing this a hell of a lot during the Christmas party season!

So I have by far left the best to last and I am not actually sure if I am going to have the words to talk about this but here goes. So my best friends bought me one of the best presents a make up junkie could ask for, Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita. Yeah I said it, a bloody Charlotte Tilbury Palette!!! I think this must have been on my beauty wishlist for a year or so now and I am so so happy to finally have it! I literally had to stop several times when I was opening this because I was crying with happiness so much, (my mum could not understand this at all, but it was an emotional time!). I have only used this once so far but it is honestly stunning. All the colours are so creamy and just blend out perfectly (especially when I use my 217) and the glitter is so pigmented. Basically I love it!

OK so that is it so far for part 1! I will be posting another birthday haul tomorrow so make sure you come back for that so you can see all the other beauty bits I was lucky enough to get! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Lush Haul

If you know me then you will find this next statement quite funny. But recently I have been 'working out' a lot more. I joined a gym at the beginning of the month and I'm on a mission to budge some excess pounds. Now so far exercise hasn't been my friend, it makes my legs and whole body super achey, which I guess means I am working hard? But anyway I have been loving having a bath at the moment so I paid a little visit to Lush to pick up some bath goodies!! Before we begin I am so rubbish at describing scents, sorry!!

This was a repurchase and it is also maybe one of my favourite lush products ever! It is so super cute and has a lovely lavender smell to it which is super relaxing. I use this one when I am feeling really stressed and it is perfect for a pre bedtime bath.

Going to be honest bought this solely because it has a rainbow on it haha! This has Ylang Ylang and Orange flower in it, which leaves the bubble bar with a beautiful fresh floral bar. With this you run the tap and then crumble it into the running water to create some nice bubbles. I have never tried one of Lush's bubble bars before so I am excited to try this and I also reckon it will make my bath a lovely fun colour.

This just smells like something I want to rub all over my body! I think it is like shea butter and coconut smell, but whatever it is it smells lovely rich and luxurious. The lady in Lush said this is good for dry skin which I seem to be getting loads recently, fingers crossed this helps!

I'm sorry this is in the shape of a heart, could it be any cuter? Now this might sound strange but I feel like this smells like love? Very romantic and floral, if you understand? I think this has rose in somewhere. I will be using this alone but I think it would very nice to use if you enjoy bathing with a partner!

So there is my little Lush haul. I have been rubbish with posting at the moment but I am trying to get myself into more of a schedule so hopefully I will have loads of posts up very shortly. Please give me a little follow on Bloglovin, hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

The Because I Needed It Haul

So I am on a spending ban currently, and except for 2 expensive slip ups I have done pretty well but yesterday I realised I needed some things (well sort of) so I had no choice but to run down to the nearest Boots and pick up a few things!

OK so to be honest the only thing I actually needed were these Boots Cotton Wool Double Faced Round Pads. I use these everyday for my Garnier cleanser and also my toner and I had run out so I did actually need to pick up some more. These are my favourite pads to use because they are double sided and are stitched together so they don't end up falling to pieces whilst you are using them which I hate!!

Next up was a bit of a random purchase. I think my eyelashes are pretty good at being curled so I don't tend to use eyelashes curlers but when I saw these bright pink Models Own Eyelash Curlers I couldn't resist picking them up! I mean seriously! Bright pink! I am going to try and use these a bit more and hopefully they will give me amazing curled lashes.

I had a mini explosion on Thursday with my current eye cream (which I talked about in my skincare routine) so I had completely run out and decided that I needed eye cream in my life so had to get a new one. I have been thinking about getting the Kiehls Avocado one but I couldn't quite bring myself to spend £20 on it so I settled for the Soap And Glory Youthful Illuminating Eye Cream. I love the packaging for Soap and Glory and this little silver tub is super cute. The eye cream itself seems pretty thick, which I like. I haven't had a chance to really try it out but I shall keep you updated! This does contain some anti aging stuff which I don't really need but I don't think it is ever too early to start fighting wrinkles!!

This hot weather is turning me into a complete oily mess and I am hating it! I don't tend to use powder normally because I don't really need it but boy do I need it now! I thought about just picking up a cheap one but I had heard so many good things about Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot that I thought I would give it a go. This is just a translucent powder which I have been using for all over my face as a setting powder. From the few times I have used it I have definitely seen a difference oil wise so I have very high hopes for this!!

There you go, that is a little insight into what I bought yesterday! I will be back tomorrow with the post I was going to post today (if that makes sense) so follow me on Bloglovin so you don't miss that! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

I Cheated! TWICE

So just under a month ago I put myself on a beauty/make up shopping ban. I was positive that I would last at least a month before cheating but I didn't. I have been very naughty and bought 2 things and not just little things, pretty expensive things!!

So first up is the Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner, I went into Boots a couple of days before my self inflicted spending ban and tried this out, I have to admit I loved it! The women who helped me out with it was so lovely and talked me into (she just mentioned it and I said yes, there were no questions asked) putting a £5 deposit down and then purchasing the rest when it was released. So because I bought some out of it before my spending ban technically it isn't cheating, right? I'm not sure that is true but that is the story I am sticking too.

I have mentioned before that I am not good with eyeliner, I rarely ever wear it because when I do attempt to do it I just look like I have rubbed crayon all over my eyelids, not a good look. I had heard that this makes eye liner application so easy and for me that is just what I need. I barely waited until I had got home to try this on and when I did I fell in love. I text my friends, raved about it to anyone who would listen, it was true love. BUT and it is quite a big but my feelings have changed. I am now very much on the fence about how I feel about this, there is no denying it makes application easy but apart from that I am not sure I like it? I don't know, I feel very confused by this product, I am going to keep using it and if you want a full review let me know?

Now onto the naughtiness thing I have ever bought. I'll set the scene, I am at Rhodes airport so very very hungover after a week of pretty much non stop drinking but I had a far amount of euros left over. I am feeling very sorry for myself so me and my friends head to duty free for some retail therapy. YSL called my name and with the help of RebeccaAnnBeauty (who basically made me buy this, she got one too!). As Amelia Liana would say we were feeling spendy. I bought a YSL Rouge Volumpte Lipstick in 33.

Words fail me when I talk about this product, just look at it!! Please everyone stop reading and just LOOK AT IT!! The packaging just looks like it has been crafted my a tribe of elves, it is just too nice! It is too pretty, criminally pretty and I OWN IT!!! I have had this for like a week now and I still can't get over it. I will be doing a full review on this because I want to talk about this for as long as possible. It is just amazing.

Ok so mini breakdown over, those are my recent naughty purchases. As much as this means I haven't stuck to my spending ban I don't regret buying these at ALL. Especially the YSL lipstick because I would never have bought one full price, I think with the conversion rate I ended up getting it for £21 which saves me £3.50, which is nearly 4 MUA lipsticks!! Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin and come back tomorrow for another fun post, hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Make Up Revolution Palette Haul

When make up revolution first launched I placed a very small order and purchased just a few things to try out. Out of the 3 products 2 were awesome and one was disappointing (look out for that product in tomorrow's blog post) so when I saw they had some new palettes out I couldn't resist checking them out. I ended up getting 5 palettes at £6 each, 2 eyeshadow palettes, 2 blush and contour palettes and 1 concealer palette. So without further ado let's talk palettes!

Ultra Cover and Concealer Palette in Light- Medium
This palette contains  8 shades of concealer which I would say are on the lighter side of light to medium. I have wanted a concealer palette like this for ages, I previously got one from ELF but it didn't live up to expectations and only features 4 quite similar shades. I think this will be awesome for concealing everything from blemishes to dark circles but also will be fun when trying to contour like Kimmy K.

Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice
This again contains 8 shades and I have to say I think I love every single one! All the shades are quite bright and pink toned with an almost white baked highlighter to complete the line up. All of the colours are pretty matte and range from bright pinks to bronzey colours with one baked blusher to match the highlighter. The pink colours in this palette are so bright but I am very excited to have a play around.

Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice
As before 8 shades this time all beautifully coral toned colours. The highlighter and one blush are again baked but this time there are 4 shimmery colours which when I swatched them looked stunning. I'd say I like the other palette slightly more on first impression but after playing around with them both that could definitely change. I think I prefer the highlighter in this palette though because it has more of a pinky undertoned.

Dia De Los Muertos Eyeshadow Palette
This features a highly impressive 18 shades, 12 shimmery, 6 matte colours. This isn't probably the palette for girls who love a neutral look! I would say there are 10 shades that I would wear day to day but the other 8 are definitely brighter more colourful colours than you would want for everyday make up! I wanted to get this palette because I think it looks really fun and over the summer I have a few events coming up that I want to wear more colourful make up for! After first swatch my eye is on Redemption is Near, Affirmation, Live Life and There Is Always A Way Back.

What You Waiting For Eyeshadow Palette
Now to the complete other end of the eyeshadow palette spectrum with this neutral eyeshadow girls dream! I think every colour in this palette is just stunning! Some of the colours aren't dissimilar to those of the Naked 3 (May do a full comparison at a later date) and are going to be perfect for a smokey eye. I think some of my favourite shades are Now It's Only Me, Take A Chance, Stupid H... And Sex Chromosome.

I am sure you will be hearing more about all these palettes as I use them more and more. Have you guys picked up any of the new palettes? So that's it over for my last haul for a while! Please come back tomorrow where I am going to be a little Debbie Downer and talk about some disappointing products, follow me on Bloglovin so you don't miss that. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Body Shop Haul

Am I the only person to have noticed that you literally never have to pay full price for anything in Body Shop anymore? If I am, please download VoucherCodes now!! I am a massive fan of the Body Shop and would buy most things in there full price but there are always so many vouchers around which means I get to buy great products at very cheap prices. Last week I was suffering from severe post holiday blues so turned to my old friend internet shopping to get me through and here is what I picked up.

A couple of months ago I smelt the Vineyard Peach Body Scrub in my Boyfriend's shower (it was his housemates) and completely loved it so obviously purchased this scrub straight away. Months on and one container of scrub almost finished I have discovered the rest of the range and to be honest I couldn't be happier! Firstly I decided to get the Vineyard Peach Shower Gel, which I think, if possible smells better than the scrub. I am already a massive fan of their body washes, they leave me smelling lovely and clean and also the scent lingers in my bathroom and through out my house after I have showered so in my opinion win win for
everyone! This is normally but £4 but I got 40% off so was only £2.40.

Like most people I love the body butters and as body moisturising goes I don't think you can wrong with any of their butters but what I have never tried are their Body Lotions. My housemate has the coconut one and raves about it so I bit the bullet and picked up the Vineyard Peach Body Lotion (normally £8, 40% off £4.80). This again smells amazing and looks like it will be super moisturising, which my post sun skin really needs. I haven't had a chance to try this out yet so let me know if you guys have tried any of the body lotions and what you think?

Now I moved away from the Vineyard Peach section and headed for the candles for some reason! I have never tried a body shop candle before but the sound of Vanilla and Tonka Bean (normally £10, 40% off £6) really intrigued my nose. I was most excited to smell this when my order arrived and I have to say I wasn't disappointed! This smells sweet but also quite sophisticated and although it isn't too summery I am going to burn it ASAP. I think I am going to take this candle and leave it at my boyfriends house to make his room smell a little nicer (and smell less like man).

My final purchase is a weird one and something I have heard nothing about! It is the Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (normally £4.50, 40% off £2.70). I don't actually suffer from dandruff but my scalp is really peeling after holiday so I got this to hopefully help deal with that! Now I am going to admit that this does not smell nice at all, I normally like the smell of ginger but this is just something else!! I think I am going to use this once a week or so just to keep my scalp nice and healthy whilst combating dandruff before it has even started! I would suggest you smell this before you buy it because I think the smell would really put some people off.

That is all for my little post holiday haul. I have been very busy this last week so haven't had a chance to mess around with any of the products yet but let me know which of these products you want full reviews for? I will have a look to see if I can find some voucher codes if any of you are interested in doing your own body shop haul and I will leave any codes below. Come back tomorrow where I shall finally be reviewing Tanya Burr's lipgloss and nail polish! Please follow me on Bloglovin and Instagram if you want, hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Skincare and Holiday Haul

I have been on a mission in recent months to improve my skincare routine. I am so lazy when it comes to looking after my face so recently I have been making an effort to try harder and make my face happy. When I went to Boots last week I managed to stay away from the make up and ended up picking up a few skincare goodies and also a few bits and bobs for my holiday!

Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Super Self Heating  Deep Pore Detox Face Mask-
I really wanted a new face mask and recently my skin has felt very clogged up so when I stumbled across this little gem from Soap and Glory I thought it would be a perfect solution for my skincare woes. I haven't had a chance to try this out yet but after reading a couple of reviews I am excited to give it a try. When I get back from holiday I will be in the market for a hydrating face mask so if you have any ideas, let me know!

YES To Grapefruit Daily Facial Scrub-
I have heard a few good things about this brand but mostly from Americans so I didn't think it was available in the UK so when I found this on the shelves of Boots I was really excited. I knew I wanted to try the brand out but wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to try but I have been looking for a good daily face scrub so this seemed perfect. It has a really nice grapefruit smell but with a fresh lemon twist as well. Again I haven't had a chance to try this but I am looking forward to give it a go!

La Roche Possay Anthelios Face Comfort Cream Tinted SPF+ -
So I have officially made my first La Roche Possay purchase. My housemates love the Effaclar Duo but I have never given it a go. I knew for holiday that I wanted a high SPF for my face and also a tinted moisturiser for wearing around the pool so when I read about this on a blog (can't remember whos) I couldn't wait to try this out. It has 50 SPF which is perfect for my fair skin but also has a lovely tint of colour which will be perfect for daytimes around the pool! I think this will be a summer essential so I will give this a full review when I get back from holiday.

Hawaiian Tropics Silk Hydration Aftersun Coconut Papaya Fragrance Lotion-
Before I begin I just want to say I wish you could some how smell this. I think this has to be the nicest thing I have ever smelt, it literally smells like summer. This is fairly pricey for an aftersun, but I managed to get it on offer so didn't feel too guilty. I am very fair so I tend to burn a little on holiday so this will be perfect for helping my skin recover after a lovely day in the sun and will also leave me smelling like a tropical fruit salad, yum!

Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel-
So I bought this aftersun because I wasn't sure if the boyfriend wanted to smell like coconut and papaya! I also think this will be perfect for if I get really burnt and wanted some really deep hydration as it contains aloe vera. As this is a gel it will be super cooling as well, will probably leave this in the fridge so it is super cold for the end of the day!

So that is it for my skincare/holiday haul. I am so excited to go on holiday so I am sorry if I keep going on about it!! Make sure you click back tomorrow to see what I have used up over the last month. Have you guys got any skincare recommendations? Please leave a comment below if you have. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

MAC Hauling

Over the last couple of weeks I have had a lot going on and was feeling a tad upset about life so I turned to the best kind of therapy to get me through it and that is retail therapy, especially high end make up retail therapy!! I am not normally a massive MAC buyer but recently I seem to be popping in whenever I have a chance, so here is a little peak at what I have bought,

First up is a repurchase and that was of Chatterbox, this is my favourite MAC lipstick and maybe even my favourite lipstick ever? I think of this as my signature lip colour and whenever I can't think of what to use I lean for this. It is a really pretty blue pink colour which is really girly and just makes your lips look lovely. It is one of the creemesheen lipsticks so leaves your lips looking almost glossy which I love.

The next 3 things I bought weren't actually from a MAC shop but from The Cosmetic Company which is an outlet make up shop which stocks MAC, Smashbox, Bumble and Bumble and much more, I think it sells all the brands that are part of the Estee Lauder company. I don't know how many of these there are but the one I went to was in Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. It mostly sells stuff from old collections but you can also find stuff they sell currently as well. I watched one of Tanya Burr's get ready with me's the other week and loved the pigment she used in it so when I saw that it was in the outlet shop I had to buy it! The Golden Olive Pigment was only £11, so a bit of bargain, and as you probably guessed it's a golden olive colour. I really like the pigments from MAC as they are so shimmery and pretty and this is probably my favourite one I have. I have used this once so far and I really like it, I just wore it all across my lid and then blended so it looked a little bit more subtle.

Also from here I picked up a Pearl Matte Face Powder in Pink Buttercream. This is just the prettiest thing!! It is embossed with the most adorable little pink flower and was only £15 (my mum did very kindly buy this for me though!!). I haven't used this too much yet, mostly because I don't want to ruin the flower but I think it will be a beautiful pinky highlighter. I think this was limited edition last May so I am quite far behind on the trend but I still think it looks fab!

My next item isn't actually from MAC but I thought I would chuck it in here anyway and it is the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, that was a repurchase because my old one had all dried out! I think this mascara is fab, the brush is the perfect size to get all of your bottom lashes covered and also doesn't leave you with panda eyes. I think the packaging is really pretty as well, and I am such a sucker for good packaging!!

Finally is the thing I am probably most excited about which is strange because it is just a nude lip liner, but it is from the Alluring Aquatic collection currently available at MAC which means it has the most stunning packaging! The What Comes Naturally Lipliner is just the most perfect nude colour. I don't have a nude lipliner so when I saw MAC was doing one and that it was going to have the prettiest packaging I just couldn't resist!! I am yet to even get this out of the box because it is just so pretty but hopefully you will be hearing more about this soon!

So I think that is all for my haul, it may not be a lot of products but as they are MAC they cost a fair bit for my student budget! Hope you enjoyed haul, let me know if you have got anything from the Alluring Aquatic collection? and if so what is good? Because I want more turquoise packaging! Come back in a couple of days where I will be doing a tag foryou all, hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

P.S- I have officially finished second year of uni!! Let summer begin!!

Spring Boohoo Haul

If I was to have a relationship status with Boohoo I would definitely label it 'it's complicated'. Over winter I rarely find myself drawn to any of the things on their website but as soon as spring/summer hits I fall head over heels and cheat on all the other shops with this website. For summer essentials Boohoo just hit the spot, their stuff is really reasonably priced and also good quality. This was just a little order I made but before I jet off on holiday next month I will be revisiting site and getting my hands on a few more bits and pieces,

So the first 2 things I purchased are both statement necklaces. I have been really liking wearing more simple clothes and then accesserising with big beautiful necklaces, only problem is I don't have many statements necklaces and the ones I do have are from Primark so have pretty much fallen apart!! I picked up these 2 because I think they are both absoloutely stunning and will be perfect as we get further into spring. The first one, Jessica Jewel Embellished Necklace, is a beautiful deep blue and gold colour. I have already worn this a couple of times and it is great for just jazzing up a plain outfit. When I first received it I was a bit worried that it looked slightly to garish and big but it actually looks lovely on.

Now the next necklace, Imogen Coloured Stone Necklace, was the one thing I was most excited about because I loved the pastel shades against silver but this one came broken!! I was really disappointed because I actually wanted to wear it straight away. I have emailed Boohoo (who haven't actually replied yet!!) and I will be changing it for a non broken one as I really really love this. What do you guys think of statement necklaces? Yay or Nay??

The other two things I purchased are actually footwear. I rarely ever buy shoes and when I do I never ever buy trainers! So this next purchase is a very different buy for me. The Cady Canvas Lace Up Trainers , basically just look like converses but are only £10. I was a little doubtful of how often I would wear these but I have been wearing them pretty much every day. First off I think they look great with everything, jeans, dresses, skirts, you name it they look good. And secondly these are so incredibly comfy!! I have been wearing boots since about September so it is lovely to slip into something a little more comfy.

Finally I bought these lovely Carmen Bow Trim Jelly Flip Flops. These are just nude flip flops with a really lovely lace and bow detail. Like I said I am going away next month so I think these will just be great for that. I plan on wearing them during the day and at night time and I just think they are really cute!

So that it is it for my first Boohoo haul of the season. Like I said I will be going back and probably picking up a few more bits before summer is over so let me know if you would like to see another Boohoo haul in the future. Thank you to everyone who has started following me on Bloglovin', I get so excited when I see I have a new follower. I am slowly but surely approaching 100 followers which may not seem like a lot but I never thought anyone except my mum would read this so 100 is amazing!! If 100 ever does happen (I hope so!) I will be doing a little giveaway to say thank you for all the support. Anyway please come back Tuesday for my monthly favourites and hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading,

I Went Shopping, Again!

As usual I popped into Superdrug to get one thing and ended up leaving with 4 items, none of which are what I went in there to get!! As I got some things I am really excited about though I decided to share the excitement with you,

So I have really fallen out of love with the Batiste dry shampoo, it is just making my hair more greasy and leaves me looking like I have really bad dandruff, not very attractive. So I wanted to pick up a new one and I think I had heard some good things about the Dove Refresh and Care Dry Shampoo so I decided to pick that one up! I have used it a couple of times already and so far so good. The smell is much nicer than other dry shampoos I have tried and it doesn't leave horrible white bits in my hair!!

Staying on the Dove theme I also picked up the Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion. This gradual tan has been super hyped up in the Blogosphere so I was so so excited to try this out! I haven't actually had a chance to give this one a go yet but I am expecting good things. Have any of you tried it and what do you think?

Next up I finally got my hands on 2 of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Frambourjois and Hot Pepper. Again I have heard so so so much about these amazing lipsticks and I'm so happy to finally have them. These go on your lips as a liquid and then dry lovely and matte. I have had a bit of a problem with matte lipsticks in the past and have found that they tend to make my lips look dry and horrible but these just make your lips look fantastic!! The colour lasts for so long, you can literally eat, drink, do whatever and the colour stays. I am very impressed with these and will probably do a full review at some point.

So that was quite a small haul but all things I am really excited about using. What have you guys been purchasing recently? Make sure to come back on Friday for a post all about my favourite blog posts from the last month! Please follow me on Instagram (where I post something most days) and also on Bloglovin so you know whenever I post something! Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading,
