Recent Favs

Again I have had another long absence from the blogging world but without going into it too much life has gotten in the way over the last couple of months and I have been physically and emotionally all over the place. I am now permanently in Brighton (well into June) and feeling emotionally amazing so I thought this would be an appropriate time to get back into blogging because I have really missed it. So first post back lets talk about what I have been loving whilst I have been away,

           L'oreal Color Riche Julianne's Nude
I think this lipstick has been almost permanently on my lips day and night since mid January now. I have always been a nude lip fan, but apart from Plink by MAC,  I have struggled to find ones that suited my skin tone. My friend has Eva's nude and raves about  it so I decided to give the collection a go and fell in love with this one. It is the perfect combo of pink and brown to create the most amazing colour on my lips. I have been teaming this with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk to create my own version of the Kylie Jenner lip.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
The foundation version of this has always been a firm favourite but my relationship with this concealer hasn't always been so positive. I first had this  a couple of summers ago and for some reason really didn't get on with it but decided to give it another go during a Boots 3 for 2 deal and I'm glad I did. This concealer is perfect for covering those dark circles under your eyes and making it look like you haven't been up all night! It feels so light on your skin but provides the perfect amount of coverage to conceal and brighten.

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Palette in Dolce Vita
So I featured this little beauty back in December in a birthday haul and talked about how excited I was to  use it and after nearly 3 months of using it I think I can definitely say this palette is an essential for all beauty junkies. All 4 colours are absoloutely stunning and blend out amazingly. The texture of these are like nothing I have felt before, like actual butter, they are such a pleasure to use. You can easily just sweep one of these colours over your eyes or use all 4 for a dramatic night look either way your eyes are guaranteed to look stunning!

Philosophy Hope In A Jar Night Cream
For Christmas I got a lovely little set of 4 Philosophy products (a brand I had never tried before) and have been using all of them over the last couple of months and this night cream has really stuck out for me. This winter has been a complete bitch to my skin and I am a massive walking dry patch! My eyelids have been particularly bad so I have been applying this to my whole face, but paying special attention to my eyelids every night over the last week or so and I can already see a massive difference! This cream is very thick and leaves your skin so beautiful and moisturised you feel like you have submerged in water all night (in a good way). I have already been checking out the full size of this because I think it is going to be a skincare essential!

So that was a little peak into what I have been enjoying recently. It literally feels so good to have written a post again but now I must head back to Dissertation work!! I will be back again over the weekend to talk about the Lipsticks I am loving for Valentine's day. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Blogmas Day 3: Recent Beauty Favourites

So I was doing really well for day 1 and day 2 and then missed a post yesterday and Wednesday! So I am a 2 days behind but that means that 2 day there will be 2 posts, yay! As I was absent for so long I decided that rather than doing a November favourites I would just talk about the products I have been loving since September so here goes,

Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner
The winter months have really been affecting my skin and I have broken out big time! I have been having spots here there and everywhere and not much has helped, except this. Tea Tree works amazingly on my spots and this toner is perfect to help combat all the pesky buggers! I use this toner every morning and night and it really helps to clear up my skin. I tend to use this all year round, even when I don't have spots because it really helps maintain clear skin and I can really notice when I haven't used it! Body Shop have a 40% off voucher floating around at the moment so if you are interested in trying this I would recommend getting it now for cheap!

Sleek Blush in Suede
I think this might be one of the first blushers I ever bought and it is still going strong! ( I know I should probably chuck it away.) I would say that this a blush/bronzer hybrid because it is very much on the brown side but is so lovely. I had completely forgotten about this but recently rediscovered it and I am in love. I think this is the perfect thing to wear on your cheeks for a subtle pop of colour. I am not sure if Sleek even still do this colour but if they do I will link it below!

Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot
I have never really been much of a powder person but in recent months my skin has tended to be on the oilier side so I have had to invest in more powders. I have tried quite a few but this has to be my favourite. I know loads of people rave about this but it really is worth the hype. It keeps oil at bay all day whilst not caking up and leaving you looking like a hot mess, so massive thumbs up for this!

MAC All That Glitters
I am in love. I did a whole post about how much I love this so I will link that below so I don't repeat myself too much. Basically if you are going to buy one mac eye shadow I suggest that you get this one. It is just the most perfect colour and I think I wear this nearly every day. It is perfect for an all over colour for day to day but also looks fab with a dark colour blended into the crease. This is just the best!

Real Techniques Brow Brush
I love a good real technique brush and when it comes to their brushes this is one of my favourites. A lot of the brow brushes I have used before have been quite flimsy and therefore haven't applied the powder to my brows well enough. This however is not at all flimsy and applies the powder I use amazingly. I have shaked up my brow routine a little recently so stay tuned for a post all about my new favourite brow product.

Rimmel Wonder'Full Argan Oil Mascara
Mascara is a funny one for me. I have tried so many mascaras out but I have never found one that I am completely in love with. I picked this mascara up from Boots back in August with high hopes that I might finally find a holy grail mascara, now I wouldn't say this is holy grail but it is pretty close. This mascara is amazing at lengthening and separating your lashes without making them look like spider legs. This does have Argan Oil in which improves the quality of your lashes, I don't know if it has done that but I have noticed that a lot less lashes fall out then they use to! Overall this is a really solid mascara and I will definitely be repurchasing it. My tip for this is to make sure the lid is always on really tight because it works much better when the formula is nice and wet. Again I have written a whole post about this which I will link below!

That is it for my recent favs, I have deliberately not included any lip products in this post because I will be doing a whole post about my favourite winter lip colours so make sure to pop back for that tomorrow. Let me know what you have been loving recently because I am currently looking for more things to put on my Christmas wish list! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Rimmel Wonder'Full Argan Oil Mascara Review

For ages my spending ban was going pretty good but now I am completely off the bandwagon, and I am going to be honest, it feels great! Couple of weeks ago I went so crazy in Boots and ended up picking out loads of new releases. Out of all of the ones I have been testing out I think this may be my favourite.

I really like the packaging of this, I think it looks super sleek and more expensive than the £6 I paid. The tube itself is quite big so I reckon there is a pretty good amount of product in there. The wand itself is pretty big as well which is a big plus for me.

The mascara claims to be 'Clump Free and Defining'. I would say this statement is pretty accurate. This leaves my lashes looking really nice and separated without a clump in sight! I have tried using this on my bottom lashes but the brush is just too big and doesn't leave my bottom lashes with the desired effect, which was a little disappointing but I rarely ever use anything other than my Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara for them anyway.

Now already I think this is a pretty good drugstore mascara, rivalling my favourite, the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara. But this mascara is special, it has Argan Oil in it. Everyone is obsessed with this oil at the moment and I can tell why. I have to admit I was quite dubious about whether this having Argan Oil in would actually do anything for my lashes, but I would argue it does. This feels much more lightweight than standard mascaras and also seems to be making my lashes grow quicker!

So overall I am loving this mascara, and can you really blame me, it is fab! I have been quite absent from my blog over the last couple of weeks but I am back on it now so make sure you follow me on Bloglovin so you don't miss any of my posts! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

Lazy Girl Make Up Must Haves

So as much as I don't like to admit it I am a very lazy person. It takes a lot for me to get out of bed before 9 (I really mean 10) and even more for me to move off the sofa if I have a day off. This laziness can sometimes also apply to make up so when I am having a very lazy morning these are some products that I like to use if I want a couple extra minutes in bed.

Shadow Sticks
These little sticks of goodness are so super easy to use and just go on so quick. The ones I like are the Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks.  Lots of brands do versions of this, I know By Terry have some amazing ones as do Make Up Forever. I am on a budget though so these ones from Rimmel are perfect for me. First up they are really nice and creamy so apply amazingly and are really easy to blend. These take no effort to apply and I just blend these with my finger. When I am feeling so lazy that I don't even want to blend eyeshadow I just use these as eyeliners, which they are great as too.

Cream Shadows
If shadow sticks aren't your things then cream shadows are fab too. Again, loads of brands do really lovely cream shadows but the ones I love are the Maybelline Color 24HR Tattoo. I know everyone raves about these but they really are great. I have so many colours and I use them all the time. I don't even use a brush with these, just swipe them over my lids with my finger and then blend them out. These are so easy and simple to apply but look really nice and also super pigmented.

Cheek Tints
Now on the cheek tint front Benefit to some amazing products, which are again super easy and quick to apply. Most of the them have little brushes on which you can just brush onto your cheeks and blend with my finger. The one I have been loving at the moment though is the Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Sunkissed Cherry. This tint is a little different because it is in a tube and is a sort of mousse texture. I just squeeze the tiniest amount of this onto my hand and then just apply with my fingers. This is so so so pigmented and you literally only need the very smallest amount so use cautiously.

Cheek Sticks
Now these are definitely my new favourite thing! I do love a good stick product and I am not sure why? I love the Topshop Glow Stick in Spotlight. This particular one is a highlighter and is actually one of my favourite highlighters of the moment. I literally just rub this stick on my cheek bones and then blend out with my finger. I know loads of brands do versions of this, and not just highlighters. I am totally lusting over the Charlotte Tilbury colour sticks, they look so awesome!!

Balm Sticks
I know, I know, I am crazy for sticks!! But balm sticks are literally the easiest things, from Clinique Chubby Sticks to Revlon Balms all of them are some of the simplest lip products out there. I particularly love the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Balm in Red. If you want a really simple red lip this is the perfect thing, you could probably apply this without even using a mirror if you were feeling particularly crazy!

So this is my lazy make up look! I have used the Scandaleyes shadow sticks, the Rimmel cheek tint, Topshop glow stick and the Jelly Pong Pong lip balm! Excuse my disgusting post gym bun!

So I think that is about it for my lazy beauty product picks. I will be back again tomorrow so please follow me on Bloglovin to check that out. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

P.S. As you can see I took photos in a different location today and I think I like it! But I am not 100% sure so let me know what you guys think of the photos in this blog and what you like/don't like about them.

Feeling Cheeky; My Favourite Summer Blushers

I am definitely a lip product girl. I literally hoard lipsticks and whenever I see a pretty new shade I buy it but recently my love for all things lip related has dwindled and I have found myself thinking all about the beauty of the blusher! It is fair to say I have a fair few blushers now and I thought I would share my favourite ones for this time of year. Some of them are new and some old favourites but I will try and find the links for all of them below in case you want to get your hands on them!

Collection Shimmer Shades in 2 Blushalicious
This is an old favourite but one I tend to lean for all the time, especially in summer. This blush quad is made up of 4 lovely colours, all very wearable on their own, but what I do is just rub my brush around and use all 4. Combined this creates a lovely bright pink colour which looks awesome on the cheeks. This stuff comes out fairly pigmented so a light hand is needed with this!

Benefit Coralista
Everyone loves this blusher and I am no different! This is just such a beautiful colour, it has the perfect amount of coral and peach tones without being orangey. I only have a little 3g sample of this but when it runs out I will be purchasing the big one! This leaves your cheeks looking so glowy and lightly flushed, great when you have a tan!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 010 Santa Rose
This is really an old one! I think I have had this for like 3 years? Which is probably far too long but it is simply amazing! I think this is probably one of my favourites blushers ever. It is a really nice coral blush but with a pretty pink tone as well. This warms up your cheeks and gives you that summer glow. I think this is a product that has fallen seriously under the beauty blogger radar so I really really really recommend you go check this out!

Natural Collection Blusher in Pink Cloud
As brands go Natural Collection is not one to write home about but when it comes to their blushers it is a complete other story! I have 5 or 6 of them and they are all fantastic, really pigmented and long lasting, this has to be my fav though. This is a true pink blush which just gives life to your cheeks. This doesn't go onto your skin bright pink so don't use it cautiously, just go for it!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose
Now unfortunately this is a limited edition product so unless you check out Ebay you probably won't be able to get your hands on it but I had to put it in here because it is so pretty!! I guess this is technically a highlighter but I think the rose gold colour makes it perfect for a blush/highlighter mix. I use this all the time, some times just on its own and other times on top of a more matte blusher to just add some extra glow. I am completely obsessed with rose gold at the moment and I think it is because of this blusher.

ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
I thought I would sneak this in the end as something a little different. When it comes to the hotter months cream products become my best friend because powders just feel far too heavy and this is just a great example of an awesome cream product. This is supposed to be multi purpose so you can use it as a blusher and also as a lipstick (which I have tried and don't overally like). I like to apply this straight from the stick then blend it out with brush for a lovely sheer glimmer of colour.

So that is a little look into what I am enjoying rubbing on my face blusher wise. What are you guys loving on the blusher front at the moment? Follow me on Bloglovin, link below and to your right, and come back over here tomorrow for a look at what I am packing for my holiday for Greece next week! Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

P.S- I found the Rimmel Santa Rose blusher online but the picture didn't look the same as the one I have, so I am not sure if they have changed the names? or if it was just a bad picture!

Disappointing Products #1

As a make up addict I end up buying a fair amount of make up and beauty items and whilst most of the time I love what I buy every so often I get a few crap things. I tend to do a bit of research into make up before I make a purchase, especially when it comes to high end products, but even then some things do not live up to expectations. So here is a little look at some products that haven't really floated my boat!

Make Up Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights
I was so excited when I first got this because in the packaging it looks absolutely stunning! Even after I swatched it I was really happy and couldn't wait to try it out but when you put it on your face the beauty just doesn't translate. To even see any kind of colour on your skin you have to put loads of this on and then it starts to look cakey. I still have this in my make up collection because I'm not quite ready to chuck it away but it's fair to say it wasn't the sensation I was hoping for!!

Benefit Sunbeam
don't really know what good things to say about this? I am normally a massive Benefit fan and I love High beam but something about this just doesn't sit well with me! This is suppose to be a lovely bronzey highlighter but when I apply it I can barely even notice it on my skin!  Luckily I only have a tiny sample size of this because I have barely used and don't have any intention to use it again!!
Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation 16HR
think I purchased this last summer when it seemed like everyone was talking about and loving this thing and so did i to start with but over time me and this foundation really feel out. I'm not really sure what about this I don't like because colour wise it is almost perfect, better than most my other foundations, but there is just something about the way this looks on me that I don't like. This also isn't as high coverage as it claims and doesn't wear terribly well, it definitely is not 16 hour!!

Bourjois Lip Crayon Peach On The Beach

My problem with this is definitely a colour thing because I have loads of the other shades  and love them! I am normally a massive fan of peachy coral coloured lip products but the colour of this just isn't flattering with my skin. It isn't really peach enough and kind of washes me out. Does anyone else have this problem?

Revlon Lip Crayon in Rendezvous

Again a massive fan of these in general but this has just become one of those products that I never reach for. The colour of this is really pretty and I love the way it feels on my lips but I just never mind myself reaching for this and it has slowly sunk to the bottom of my lip product pile because I just have better products.

Rimmel Apocalips

Where do I start with these? When these first came out everyone was talking about these and I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I thought all the colours were lovely and the 3 I have are beautiful colours but I just never use these because they are so good damn hard to apply!! The applicatior seems to hold loads of product and when I apply these I just get so messy and it doesn't look cute at all!! I don't know if anyone else has this problem? But for me it has really put me off them unfortunately.

So onto happier things now!! I don't like talking about products I don't like but some times you just need to vent about things that have let you down!! What products have disappointed you lately? I'm really proud to say that I have finally got myself into a good routine and seem to have got into the flow of blogging more recently as I've been posting everyday. Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin so you never miss a post, enjoy the rest of your weekend, I have just finished work so I'm going to have a relaxing pamper Sunday night. What are you doing?Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading,

My Make Up Starter Kit (All Products Under A Tenner)

Rimmel, Maybelline, Barry M, L'oreal and Collection!! The drugstore is full of low cost but great quality brands who have so so many products to choose from! So when it comes to getting together a basic make up kit you are absolutely spoilt for choice, but I have managed to narrow the hundreds of products down to what I think is the essentials in anyones make up starter kit. I haven't mentioned lip products in this post at all because picking one was just too hard so what I'm going to do is top 10 drugstore lip products post instead! So let's go...

Now to start a base, before putting on any make up I like to apply a primer. This makes your skin look generally smoother and nicer, zs well as keeping your make up in place all day. My
current favourite is Garnier 5 Sec Perfect Blur (£8.66), I did a full review of this the other day so you can check that out if you want to know more . Now onto your BB cream or Foundation. I have included one of each to keep everyone happy. For days where my skin is looking great I will always use a BB cream and out of all the ones I have tried the Garnier BB cream (£6.66) is my stand out winner. The coverage is really nice and light, feeling almost like you are wearing nothing, but at the same time covers up any imperfections just the right amount. BB creams are a dream in summer so make sure you have one! My winning Foundation has to go to an oldie but a goodie and it is Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (£9.99). This Foundation is literally one of the best I have ever tried from the drugstore! It is medium coverage (which is great for me) and creates a dewy finish. This Foundation is so reasonably priced but also so amazing, if you have never tried it firstly why? and secondly go get it, NOW!

After I apply my foundation/BB cream I conceal any blemishes that the base hasn't covered. For spots, red blotches and blemishes I love the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£3.99). This is a favourite for so many people and I am sure you have heard loads about it but it really is great. I love how creamy it is and it stays on for ages so you don't have to keep touching up! I do find this concealer to cakey for under my eyes though so instead I use the Maybelline Dream Lumi (£6.99), this is perfect for under eyes as it covers dark circles and brightens your skin. It is also great for highlighting. After all of that I finish it off with either a powder or a setting spray depending on how I'm feeling! My pick for powder is the Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent Powder (£3.99), it sets make up beautifully but also doesn't leave your skin looking or feeling cakey. If I'm using a setting spray I would use the Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist (£8), this has a lovely rose scent and feels lovely on the skin. A couple of sprays at the beginning of the day leaves your make up in place for hours.

Next is onto my eyes. I would normally do my eyebrows now but I decided not to talk about eyebrow products because I am trying loads of new things out at the moment so watch this
space because there will probably be a post on eyebrows coming very shortly!! Anyway eye shadow, for this I did cheat because I picked two things but both have to be mentioned! So firstly my Sleek Colour Palette in The Original 594 (£7.99). I think sleek do some of the best colour palettes on the market, the shadows are super pigmented and all blend really nicely! If you don't like the colours in this palette check out their others, they are all great. Cream eye shadow wise my pick is the Maybelline Color 24HR Tattoos (£4.99), these are just amazing! All 3 of the ones I have are really pretty colours and are great either on their own or mixed with other colours. The only thing I would say about these is that you have to make sure you put the lids on really tightly as they dry out easily.

After eyeshadow comes eyeliner (which I am awful at applying) and again I cheated and picked 2! First is the Collection Gel Eyeliner in Black (£3.99), This is great for creating a winged look or just to line your top lashes. Again keep the cap on because this drys out easily. My other pick is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Sticks (£4.49), these are technically eyeshadows but I mostly use them for eyeliner, Bulletproof Beige looks great and makes your eyes look really big! So finally  mascara and I actually forgot to include a picture of this (sorry!!) but I did do a post on mascaras this week so if you want to know what my favourite drugstore mascaras are then go check that out now!!! HERE IT IS

Now for me these bits are the finishing touch to any look. Blusher and Bronzer make your skin look so much more radiant and healthy, I just can't get ready without them!! My favourite cream blush is the Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Pinched (£7.99). This pinky peach tone leaves a lovely flush of colour on your cheeks, I'm not sure how much I will be using cream blushers as we head into Autumn but whilst it is still Summer I love them. If you have oily skin (or just like powder blushers) The Rimmel Lasting Finish Mono Blush in Santa Rose (£3.99) might be better for you. This is a really nice coppery toned pink, I think this could be my favourite blush of all time!! And finally everyone loves that bronzed look and for me the best way to achieve that is with Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (£6.99). I love this for creating a bronzed look and also for contouring!

So that is all!!! And I have done the maths (well used my calculator) to work out that all these products would cost you £103.18!!!!! Now that may seem like a lot but for some people this is all the make up they would need!

Phew!!! That seemed like a long post!! Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Mascara Madness: My Pick Of Drugstore Mascaras

Walking into Boots and trying to find the perfect mascara for your budget can be very overwhelming, every brand has about a million different mascaras and frankly some of them just aren't up to scratch! So over the last couple of months I have done the hard work for you and tried out many different mascaras in order to find the best for you! So these 5 are my must have mascaras.

1. The Budget Buy- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara- £4.99
This was the first ever mascara I owned and I still buy it all the time! It isn't the best mascara in the world but it does the job. Your lashes look lovely and long but it doesn't add volume or fullness to them really! If you are just getting into make up or want a mascara to through in your handbag this is the one, and for £4.99 you can't really go wrong. I think part of my love for this is that it reminds me of being 15 again though!!

2. The I Can't Believe It's That Cheap- Collection Big Fake Ultimate Mascara- £5.99 (currently on offfer for £3.99)
This mascara is crazy cheap for how good it is. The wand is so thick, it volumizes your lashes amazing. This leaves your lashes thick and full, giving an almost fake lash effect. This is my must have mascara at the moment as it just leaves my lashes looking amazing. This is normally £5.99, which is so cheap for the quality but it is currently on offer at Superdrug for a stupidly cheap £3.99 I shall be running down there and stocking up as soon as I can!!

3.The Middle Of The Range- Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara- £7.99
I was surprised to like this one actually! The wand is a strange shape but it actually works really well. The thick end is perfect for applying mascara all over your lashes where as the thinner end is great for getting into the inner corner so you don't miss those one!! The formula of this I didn't like to start with but once it had been open for a couple of weeks it gets a little thicker and is must better!

4.The Beauty Blogger Favourite- Maybelline Volum Express Mascara Falsies- £7.99
I'm sure everyone has heard about the Falsies, it is a staple mascara for so many people and I love it to. But I think I love this variation slightly more!! the Volum Express just adds that little more volume to your lashes, and my lashes really need volume!! Unlike the Rimmel mascara the formulation of this is great from the beginning, I would say that it does dry up quite quickly though (especially if you sometimes leave the lid half one, whoops!) so don't expect it to last for ages but it is a really really good mascara!!

5. The Pricey Drugstore One- No7 Stay Perfect Mascara- £12.75
Now I have only had this one for a couple of weeks but it is one I really wanted to include. This has a much more natural finish than the others, it doesn't really volumise the lashes but it does length but the thing I love about this the most is the staying power. With some of the others I feel that it rubs onto my skin (especially in the summer) and I end up with highly unattractive panda eyes. But with this, it isn't problem. The brush is also slightly different because it is plastic. This mascara is quite new I think so I would be really interested to see what you guys have to say about it if you have tried it?

and a special mention.....
I don't think I could do a mascara post without mentioning this one. The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is honestly a life saver! The tiny wand makes it really easy to apply to your bottom lashes and once this is on it just doesn't budge. This is slightly pricey though but I do think it is worth every 1200 pennys it costs!! (that's £12 by the way)

What are your favourite mascaras? Is there any I must try? Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading.

A Purple Post

This a new series I am going to start doing which involves every other Sunday picking a colour and talking about all my favourite products which are that colour! So today I am going to be talking about Purple. When I first came up with this idea I thought it would be super easy to think of Purple products but it was actually really hard! I have managed to gather 4 things that are all Purple and are also things I really really love, so lets get started!!

H and M Nail Varnish in Misty Lilac
I haven't had the best experience of these nail varnishes in the past. I have found although they have really pretty colours the actual formulation isn't very good and it tends to chip really really easily. When I found this beautiful soft lilac colour I had to buy it though! I have used this probably 5 or 6 different types now and I have to say the formulation is a lot better than I remember. It goes on really nicely and if you make sure to apply a top coat you will get a couple of days wear out of this before it begins to chip. The formulation of this isn't as good as most other nail varnishes I own but I think this colour is just too pretty to not wear.

Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Satellite
When I first heard of these a couple of months back I was really really intrigued and couldn't wait to try them out. I only have it in this colour Satellite but I would definitely get some more. I think this deep plum colour is beautiful, it isn't the most summery colour but as we head into Autumn I know I will be wearing this all the time. The glitter is really nice as well and although they obviously come as a kit I do use the glitter end on top of others colour. You do need to put 2 or 3 coats of the glitter on for it to look really nice in my opinion but after that the effect is just lovely. I think this probably my favourite Purple nail polish I own.

Rimmel Lipstick in Starry-Eyed
Now I am not completely sure purple toned lipsticks suit me but I really hope they do as I love them. My friend has this lipstick and when I borrowed it once I feel so in love I had to buy my own. This is a really lovely purpley maroon colour, it is quite dark so I'm not 100% sure it suits my pale complexion so when I do use it I only apply a little and add some gloss over the top. If like me you are a bit scared about darker lipsticks I think this a perfect one to start out with.

Denman Teasing Comb
I'm not sure if this is cheating or not but the comb itself is purple! This is literally my favourite hair product I own. I quite thin lifeless hair and it always need more volume and this is just perfect for adding volume to my roots. It is great for back combing but it is also really good for brushing out knots and tangles. I think this a must have for any who likes big voluminous hair. Also the size is perfect for just chucking in your clutch on nights out!

So that is all of my favourite Purple items. Next time I shall be talking about all my lovely Coral things (coral is by far my favourite colour). What purple products do you guys love?

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!
